Trakia University is located in Stara Zagora, Bulgaria. The city is in the center of the country, and this is the university of the future.
Trakia University is ranked fifth from a total of 52 higher education institutions in Bulgaria and is a member of the European Association of Universities (EUA) and the International Association of Universities (IAU)
More than 600 highly qualified lecturers and guest speakers from other universities in the country and abroad teach over 8,200 students from Bulgaria and the world, in 72 accredited bachelor and master programs and 80 doctoral programs.
Students are trained in 20 study halls with modern lecture and computer halls, seminar and practice halls, language laboratories, specialized cabinets, etc. There are 20 research and diagnostic laboratories. The library center has more than 300,000 volumes of specialized literature and is carrying out book exchange with 108 universities from 35 countries.
Bilateral agreements have been signed with over 60 universities from nearly 40 countries across Europe and the world. All students have the opportunity to train and run internships under the EU’s Erasmus + program using the European Credit Transfer System.
